Fat Barrel is a “fat buy” of the USA into SA wine. Founded by Bob Lynde, who started dealing with SA in 1990 when he discovered our wine regions and has never looked back. He’s been creating exceptional personality-driven wines out of Wellington, and entirely for export to the US. By chance we had the opportunity to sample to US top-selling Pinotage and immediately fell in love. Eventually Bob agreed to a small allocation each year, and the wine sells out quickly.
