20 Degrees Temp Syrah Garnacha 2011
“Hand-crafted Spanish red blend of Tempranillo, Syrah and Garnacha from the extraordinarily high-altitude vineyards in Granada, Andalucia.”
Situated amongst the Sierra Tejeda mountains, the grapes of these vineyards allowed for an extraordinary red wine. The name means “20 Degrees” and refers to the massive variation in temperatures that the vineyards enjoy due to the very high altitude. A perfectly balanced blend of Tempranillo (70%), Syrah (20%), Garnacha (10%). Grapes are hand picked in the early hours of the morning, which is particularly cold due to the high altitude. A complex wine with real freshness and elegance.
