Located outside the village of Ville-Morgon within the Beaujolais appellation.
Jean took over his father’s 14 hectare domaine in 1980.
Early on Jean began to follow the teachings of Jules Chauvet, a traditionalist who defied everything that the more commercial brands were doing in the region. Jean returned to the old practices of viticulture starting with old vines, no use of synthetic herbicides or pesticides, harvesting late, no added sulphar and no fining and filtration.
