Bruno Lafron, originally from a long line of Burgundy producers dating back centuries, decided in 1999 to move his production to the Languedoc (Châteauneuf du Pape) in search of fresh terroir, more varietals and new styles. Whilst technically within the CNDP region, he grows and produces wines outside of the typical styles and AOC system. These are exceptionally well-made, superbly delicious wines. Don’t be fooled by the “Vin du Pays” designation.
