The Du Toit family settled in the Cape in 1686, and over the next years they firmly established themselves as well-respected farmers, pioneering a strong wine culture in the region. The age-old craft of winemaking has been handed down over the generations, with traditional techniques still being used today. Drawing from years of experience working at various esteemed estates, such as Lourensford, Lanzerac, Rhebokskloof and KWV, currently, the Du Toit Family Wines are made on the small vineyard in Paarl.
