The Labruyere Family have been involved in wine since 1850 and today, oversee a ‘mosaic of terroirs’. The prestigious Domaine Labruyere in Moulin-a-Vent (Beaujolais), Domaine Jacques Prier in Mersault (Burgundy), and Chateau Rouget in Pomerol (Bordeaux). In 2012, the family purchased vineyards in Verzenay, a Champagne grand Cru village renowned for Pinot Noir. Edouard Labruyere settled on the name J.M. Labruyere, in tribute to his ancestors of six generations past. As a ‘grower Champagne’ (owning and farming all of their own vineyards) they are able to master each stage on the wine-growing and winemaking processes with terroir, tradition and excellence being their core values.
