Maison Champy is considered the oldest Negociant in Burgundy, with records dating back to 1720. The original family lost control of the business in the 20th century and the business was owned for a time by Louis Jadot, who bought the company in 1990. The original family managed to re-purchase the Maison after a few years and began rebuilding it to its former glory. Today they produce wines across 21 hectacres of which they own 4 and cultivate 17. Their Bourgogne wines are exceptional for their class and over-deliver. They are the perfect way to get your Burgundy fix without breaking the bank.
