7th Generation winemaker, Attie louw is known for his great attention to vineyard management, where he aims for smaller yet intensely flavoured berries. This approach gives refreshing density and character to his delicious wines. Attie, along with a few like-minded producers, can be credited for putting the Breedekloof Valley on the map.
Attie studied viticulture and oenology at The University of Stellenbosch and completed vintages in the Yarra Valley and Rhone.
The estate overlooks sweeping views of the Slanghoek Mountains and Breedekloof wine route vineyards. We first sold their wines back in 2005 when Frogitt & Vonkel started in South Africa.
