If one could spend their days simply meandering through the Cape Winelands visiting wine farms and drinking delicious hand-crafted boutique wines, Pearl Mountain Farm would be a regular stop.
Tracing its beginnings back to 1747, the farm was originally half its current size and was the site of a blacksmiths. In 1873 the plot increased to 70 hectares under new ownership of the Retief family, where it has remained for 5 generations. The farm currently houses a restaurant and tasting centre, and produces a limited range of small production wines.
