A 100% Stellenbosch Syrah made the old-fashioned way, focusing on where it all started, terroir.  This medium-bodied Syrah is slightly lighter than other Stellenbosch examples, but it shows captivating length on the palate.  The grapes were hand-picked, fermented naturally and aged in 2ndfill French oak barrels for 11 months before blending and bottling.  The wine was then aged on its lees to secure longevity. Small-batch, hand-crafted brilliance.
