Black Pearl Mischief Maker 2016

This is the “flagship” wine of the farm and it’s easy to taste why.  The name is in honour of Mary-Lou herself, a well-known mischief-maker in her own right.  Shiraz, Mourvedre and Grenache meld beautifully together to create a wine that shows lovely concentration in a fairly dry and classic style.  A medium to full-bodied red blend with a lingering aftertaste of Vanilla from spending 20 months in French Oak.
