100% Merlot from the cool climate of the upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.
The grapes were hand-harvested then transported to the cellar where they were hand-sorted, destemmed and gently crushed. The wine was aged for 16 months in neutral French oak barrels.
A medium-bodied wine with fresh notes on the palate and a lingering finish.
The vibrant acidity will allow for extended age-ability.
