Description
100% Pinot Gris from the cool climate Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, specifically from the De Bos Vineyards against the Babylonstoren Mountains, overlooking Walker Bay. The grapes were hand-harvested then pressed at the family cellar in Wellington. The juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in older oak barrels. Delicate nuances of yellow peach and sweet melon come through on the nose. The palate is velvetly and beautifully balanced. Can cellar for up to 5 years.
