Description
1781 is a perfect expression of pristine organic vineyards in the Coastal Cape Floral Kingdom of South Africa. A classic Bordeaux blend made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec. The grapes were handpicked and fermented separately in stainless steel tanks using specially selected French yeast. Each varietal was then matured separately in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels for 14 months. The palate is lively yet elegant with vibrant undertones of wood, vanilla and spice. Can cellar for another 5 years.
