Catchpole & Co Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Complex, individualistic and elegant. Our challenge here was to find an exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon that would fit seamlessly into the Woodward Ridge range. We found it by working with The Winery of Good Hope and their Helderberg ocean-facing Cabernet vineyards. 2017 was a very dry vintage, as a result the berries were smaller but more concentrated.  Aged in old oak barrels (mostly 2^nd, 3^rdand 4^th) for nearly 18 months before it was gently fined and filtered for bottling.
