The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is like a perfect marriage where one varietal compliments the other. A characterful blend of two of the most classic varieties with an expressive palate of beautiful fruit concentration. This harmonious, distinctive blend aims to reflect the individuality of the sites in which it is grown. The Cabernet Sauvignon was mostly whole berry fermented, whereas the Merlot grapes were crushed and de-stemmed in separate fermenters. 40% of the wine was matured in French oak barrels for a period of 10 months before blending and bottling. The 2020 is supple with a fine texture as well as beautiful fruit concentration. A venously savoury finish.
