Catchpole & Co Vouivres Éclat MCC 2014

Completely handmade for us by Gabrielskloof. The base wine is their own Pinot Noir and the Chardonnay comes from Elgin. Only 1,500 bottles made for us in total. The bottle sports a golden “Catchpole & Co.” dragon, with details of the wine on a separate neck tag.

“Vouivre” is a type of dragon in French folklore, and Eclat means “brilliant” “bursting” which is exactly what this Pinot driven MCC does on your palate.
