Catchpole & Co Woodward Ridge Merlot 2013

This private collection Merlot was selected from the finest part of 21 year old vines on one of the oldest farms in South Africa.  The wine spent 12 months in French oak barrels giving the wine delicate hints of wood and rich berry flavours.   This fantastic vintage is so elegantly refined with subtle, velvety tannins and a creamy finish.  A truly well-balanced wine that is a perfect accompaniment to any full-flavoured meat dish.
