Catchpole & Co Woodward Ridge Unwooded Chardonnay 2016
Crisp yet lush Chardonnay without a hint of oak. A cult following.
An easy-drinking, classy, un-oaked Chardonnay with fresh bright and clean flavours. The 2016 vintage showing a greater depth of flavour and sublime minerality due to a drier summer and thus smaller grapes which are jam packed with a more concentrated flavour! It is the only chardonnay under the best value buy in the Platter guide. It’s a premium wine without the premium price tag. In fact, so dangerous now bottled in 1.5 litre magnums!
