Château De Chamirey Mercurey Rouge 2012

The Mercurey Rouge is a masterpiece of the Chateau, carefully crafted from selected fruit across 12 of the families vineyards, including 3 Premier Cru vineyards. The 2012 was hand harvested from 25 year old vines, and has been a standout vintage for the Château. The wine is remarkably elegant with a lovely perfumed nose, silky tannins, and well integrated oak. The Devillard family have released these magnums now as the wine is drinking exceptionally well currently, but you could cellar for another +/- 8 years. But why would you?
