De Krans Tritonia / Verdelho White 2015
“Rated 90 Points in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, this flagship white blend transports you from its home in the Klein Karoo all the way to Portugal”
Situated along the upper reaches of the picturesque Gamka River Valley, a Malvasia Rei vineyard was planted in 1947. These forgotten vines are now nearly 70 years old, bearing low yields of small berries of excellent quality. This is their flagship blend with Verdelho grapes to show some of the Klein Karoo’s forgotten legacy. We imagine popular conversation whilst drinking this wine will be just why ore producers are not working with Portuguese-origin cultivars in SA. Pairs absolutely fantastic with seafood – a salmon and sea trout treat! Order yours today as stock is very limited.
