The grapes were harvested at optimum ripeness which has resulted in intense black fruit, allied with ripe, supple tannins and a seductive mouth feel.
Louis focuses on gentle extraction methods which allows the fruit to show its true potential.
The wine was aged for 18 months in new oak barriques which are toasted specially for Domaine De L’Aurage.
The nose is loaded with blackberries and truffle notes which are signature characteristics of a fantastic Bordeaux.
The palate is powerful and structured with great length and complexity.
