Discovered on a recent trip around Bordeaux by Alex Dale, Founder of The Winery of Good Hope, these exceptional wines have been carefully curated to offer the owner an enviable cross-section of top vintages and perfectly bottle-aged Bordeaux. From a producer usually only accessible to those within the inner-circle of French private wine buyers.
The blends are Merlot driven at around 95% each, and blended and balanced with Cabernet Franc.
Each Pack, carefully curated by Alex Dale, contains:
1 x 1996 – savour the rewards of 21 years perfect aging. 12.5% ABV
1 x 1998 – considered a ‘sublime’ vintage. 13% ABV
1 x 1999 – very decent vintage, ready to drink now. 12.5% ABV
1 x 2001 – charming vintage, ready to drink now. 13% ABV
1 x 2010 – very good vintage, especially for Pomerol. Powerful. Could age another +/- 15 years. 13% ABV
1 x 2011 – ‘Merlot at its best’ according to the Domaine itself, perfect for aging. 13% ABV
