Echo of G. 2012
“Possibly the softest, yet most complex South African wine you will have tasted to date. Bordeaux-beating SA excellence. Extremely Limited.”
The world’s leading wine experts continually praise the unparalleled level of quality, and in a blind-tasting against the best Bordeaux, G. already surpassed the likes of Petrus!
The Echo of G. reflects the master craftsmanship of “G.”, being from the same vines and barrels, but ultimately born during final blending. What Denis Dubourdieu and Giorgio Dalla Cia have left after creating “G.” is then expertly blended into The Echo of G.
As a result the Echo has been picking up the same stellar ratings and reviews. A blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot selected from 11 different vineyards across the Western Cape. The grapes are hand-picked in small quantities, carefully destemmed and meticulously sorted twice by expert hands. The blend spent 18 months in New French oak barrels from seven different talented cooperages.
The wooden case is beautifully branded with the 4G. logo on the lid. Each bottle is packaged in its own velvet and satin pouch.
