Edouard Labeye is a pioneer among winemakers in Southern France; he is also one of the partners at The Winery of Good Hope. His masterful techniques and the superior grape-growing know- how are the building blocks for a great wine.
There is no comparison when it comes to local Pinot Noirs, that the EL is beyond the highest expectations. The grapes were hand-picked from a specific site located in Elgin and transferred to French oak for 10 months. With a satin mouth-feel, there’s no wonder why this Pinot Noir is so difficult to put down. The earthy and mineral characteristics that come through make for a wonderful expression of elegance and finesse.
