The grapes used to create this wine were cultivated by means of Dryland Farming which is significantly more environmentally friendly than traditionally irrigated vineyards. Dryland harvesting also results in better expression and characteristics of the grapes. Once harvested the grapes spent 12 months in French oak barrels. The soft, ripe tannins of Cabernet Franc are supported by the dark fruit flavours and body of the Merlot.
