Finca La Emperatriz Reserva 2012

This is an impressive blend of Tempranillo (94%), Garnacha (3%), Viura (2%), and Graziano (1%), carefully selected from grapes grown on the four best plots of La Emperatriz.  The wine is a true expression of the estate and the traditional Riojan blend, with layers of complexity and a contemplatively long finish.  The grapes used come from 40-year old bush vines, and their concentrated flavour shines through with refined elegance.
