The “flagship” Syrah from award-winning Gabriëlskloof, and the final release of an exceptional vintage (these are the last 59 bottles!)
Only fruit from their south-facing and therefore lower yielding vines is used, with rigorous hand selection of fruit over the cellars sorting table. The selected grapes are then vinified in a selection of French and Hungarian oak barrels. The best barrels are then selected for this limited release wine, and just a kiss of viognier is added to give the Syrah wonderful aromatics and a silky-smooth finish.
