Named on account of the low yielding clone SH22, The Unyielding Syrah is a wine produced from finite volumes of intensely flavoured grape clusters.  The grapes were hand-picked, hand-sorted and 100% de-stemmed with zero added Sulphur.  This Syrah spent 17 months in French oak barrels, 70% of which was new.  This allows for a wine with subtle tannins, a balance mouthfeel and a lingering aftertaste.

The palate is intensely vibrant and elegant with good clean acidity.

The new oak will allow this wine to develop nicely over the next 8 to 10 years.
