The outstanding character here is purity and a sense of place. Orchard fruit and white flowers dominates the nose, underpinned by a sense of suppressed energy. The arrival is sharp and frank with elegant bubbles. The Champagne is aged on the lees twice as long as the appellation requirements resulting in a sophisticated and full-flavoured wine.
Great finish is expressed through an incredible minerality. The terroir gives its Chardonnays a unique character marked with citrus and toasty notes.
A truly fascinating wine which warrants time.
