Description
Crafted from a single 1.89-hectare Petit Verdot block, planted on the foothills of the Sidouw Mountain, this wine represents the flagship expression of the estate in Rawsonville. The grapes are hand-harvested in the early morning hours and whole-berry fermented to preserve purity of fruit and structure. After fermentation, the wine was matured for 18 months in seasoned French oak barrels, allowing depth and complexity to develop while respecting the character of the vineyard.
Crafted with meticulous vineyard selection and a refined New World winemaking approach, this Petit Verdot reveals a powerful presence and a deep purple hue.
The nose is captivating, layered with intense blackberry and plum aromas, intertwined with dark fruit richness and subtle herbal nuances that add intrigue and complexity.
On the palate, smooth and velvety tannins frame a medium-bodied wine driven by ripe, succulent dark fruit flavours.
