La Mondianese Ruchè Di Castagnole Monferrato D.O.C.G. 2016

(Pronounced roo-kay) A relatively scarce grape, grown only in the hills to the north-west of Asti.  The wine spent 6 to 8 months in used barriques.  Soft, velvety wine with a lingering palate.  As far as the farm can ascertain, this is the only single-cultivar bottling of Ruché in the world!
