Major’s Hill Chardonnay 2016

The long awaited return of the Chardonnay after personal illness caused the Estate to skip the 2015 Chardonnay release.

Hand harvested at night, de-stemmed into tanks by gravity to keep berries whole, the free-run juice is then drawn by gravity. This chard has touched the wood lightly creating a wine of passion with full ripe and concentrated flavours of melon and a hint of butter. 4 months in selected Hungarian oak.
