Description
The Mariëtte MCC is wonderfully complex with a pale golden hue and a constant stream of delicate bubbles. Made traditionally, the grapes are harvested by hand then whole bunch pressed. Initial fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks for 15 days, whilst the second fermentation took place in bottle where the wine matured on the lees for 72 months. Light, yeasty aromas are apparent on the nose with a lemon cream richness on the palate followed by citrus and pear notes. Pairs beautifully with exotic seafood dishes.
