Description
Beautifully crafted white wine from El Bierzo, north of Leon. This is a 100% Godello which is a white wine varietal native to Spain. The vineyards are protected by the Serra dos Ancares, a vast mountain range which borders Orense, Lugo and Asturias. These valleys create a natural barrier and an ideal micro-climate which perfectly regulations temperatures within these vineyards. The grapes are hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is beautifully golden in the glass with green reflections. Subtle green apple and citrus aromas come through on the nose with tertiary notes of vanilla and toasted oak – much like a quality white Burgundy. The palate is broad and full with a wonderful silky, creamy texture. Pairs beautifully with creamy seafood dishes.
