These 18 year old vines are located on the South-Facing slopes of Bakenkop over-looking the Atlantic Ocean.
The grapes were hand-picked early in the morning then whole-bunch pressed.
The wine matured in French oak barrels on JMEL fine lees for 11 months before bottling.
Light and crisp on the palate with fruity aromas and some herbal complexity.
The wine has an element of smokiness, great balance and a creamy yet dry finish.
Organically farmed since 2015, but not certified.
