Metzer Wine Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
Farm: Metzer Wines
“A medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon lifted by fresh acidity and framed by compact yet prominent tannins.”
A single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from a parcel situated in the Steynsrust area of the Helderberg overlooking the shores of False Bay. The wine was fermented and aged as naturally as possible, without intervention. This vintage was raised for 14 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which was new wood. The wine was bottled un-fined and un-filtered.
Delivers immediate drinking pleasure, but will gain in complexity with further cellaring (7 years)
