Metzer Wines Maritime Chenin Blanc 2017

A single-vineyard wine from a bush vine parcel planted in 1981 situated close to the shores of False Bay.  This Chenin Blanc was fermented and aged as naturally as possible, without intervention. The grapes are handpicked in the early morning hours to preserve the fruits integrity and aged in French oak barrels for 8 months.  A beautiful Chenin Blanc with rich texture and a persistent finish.

This wine delivers immediate drinking pleasure, but will gain complexity with further cellaring (5 years)
