This 100% shiraz was picked from a single vineyard located in the Helderberg region.
The wine is fermented naturally for a period of 14 days during which it is punched down manually once per day.
The 2017 spent 11 months in French oak, of which 10% was new.
The palate is powerful yet graceful featuring ripe fruits complemented by savoury notes, which keeps the wine beautifully balanced.
The wine delivers immediate drinking pleasure but will gain in complexity with further cellaring. (keep up to 2026)
