Micu Narunsky Iemanjá 2011
“A unique blend of Portuguese varietals showcasing dark red fruit and earthy elegance.”
Pronounced ‘Yemanja’, this flagship wine was named after the mythological African sea goddess, Rainha Do Mar.
Made from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barocca and Souzao grown in the Stellenbosch and Swartland region.
The fruit was hand-harvested and went through traditional winemaking methods, including ‘free run’. The wine was aged for 35 months in French oak (33% new)
Dark brooding red in the glass, with black cherries and delicate spice on the palate.
A complex and powerful wine that continues to evolve sip after sip.
Drinking superbly, but can age for a few more years.
This vintage is dedicated to Micu’s life partner, Natlaie Lakey for her spirit and beauty.
45% Tinta Barocca, 33% Touriga Nacional, 22% Souzao
