Mount Granite Black Mica 2012
A terroir specific Merlot-driven blend, grown in the mineral rich granite soils found on the slopes of Paarl Mountain – Boutique wine at its best
Named after Paarl Mountain, the second largest granite outcrop in the world, this is a full-bodied blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes were all specially selected from small vineyards, rooted in weathered granite soils. There’s bags of personality in the well-made blend. A powerful representation of the family’s traditional winemaking skills that have been perfected for over 300 years.
