Nautilus Estate Southern Valleys Pinot Noir 2017

The 2017 Nautilus Pinot Noir is the perfect example of why the Nautilus brand is well received by those in the know. Refined and balanced, this elegant wine shows good intensity and a lengthy finish.  NZ Pinot Noir, like Sauvignon Blanc, is considered the champion of New World Pinot’s and the Nautilus gives us everything we need to convince you of the same.

The grapes were hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeast.  After pressing, the wine was racked directly into new and older French oak barriques where it remained for 12 months.

Seductively dark ruby in colour with earthy notes on the palate and a long savoury finish.
