Description
The Sir Lowry Red Blend is Onderkloof’s only red blend. Consisting of Stellenbosch Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The three varietals make a harmonious combination resulting in a wine of true elegance. The blend spent 18 months in older French oak barrels. All three varietals were then blended together seamlessly before bottling. This is a complex, dark and brooding blend, particularly on the nose which is dominated by dark fruit and cocoa aromas. 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 49% Cabernet Franc, 2% Merlot
