Description
A deeply coloured wine with classic varietal charcteristics. After harvest, fermentation was carried out in a combination of static and rotary fermenters for 6 days. This creates a balance between tannin extraction and retaining the overall fruit flavour and aromatic profile. The blend if beautifully dark red in the glass with crimson hues. Aromas of blackberry and plums come through on the nose with subtle notes of tobacco leaf. The palate is elegantly structured with a silky texture. Layers of dark cherry and warm spices are complemented by soft tannins. 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Shiraz
