A medium to full-bodied Merlot beautifully ruby red in colour, harvested from North-East facing slopes on the Paarl Mountain.
The fruit was farmed organically and harvested at full ripeness from 23 year old vines.
30% of the juice was removed from the skins to enhance the extraction of colour and flavour.
The wine was aged in 60% New and 40% older French Oak barrels for 12 months.
A deep ruby Merlot with complex aromas of raspberries and dark fruits.
A soft yet rich wine which pairs beautifully with roast beef and vegetables.
Ready to drink, but can age for up to 8 years.
