Pearl Mountain Avis Chardonnay 2016

A wooded Chardonnay with toasty vanilla aromas together with citrus and dried apricot on the nose.
The juice was left on the skins for one hour and then transferred to 50% new and 50% second fill French oak barrels.
Spontaneous fermentation was conducted in barrel and the wine was aged for an additional 9 months before bottling.
A well-integrated wine complimented by buttery flavours on the palate with an oaky finish.
