Pearl Mountain Stubborn Man White Blend 2020

Since 1873 the Retief family have been living up to their name by battling the elements, granite boulders, bank managers and of course, each other.  The name ‘Retief’ originates from the French word ‘rétif’, meaning impatient or restless under delay, duress or control – in other words, stubborn.

This Chenin Blanc/Sauvignon Blanc blend has a delicate green undertone with grassy notes on the nose and tropical fruit flavours on the palate.

The grapes were hand-picked slightly early to preserve the zesty characteristics.

Overall, an easy-drinking, well-balanced blend.
