Named as such because this wine is the complete ‘Antithesis’ of the wealth of Robert Parker-styled wines. Vineyard-driven, not winemaker manipulated.
Beautifully balanced and restrained.
The wine was barrel matured for about 19 months, then assembled into one tank where it spent another 2 months before bottling.
Naturally fermented, unfined, unfiltered, and from a single vineyard– a true representation of why many believe Syrah to be the varietal most well-suited to the Helderberg.
