Radford Dale Black Rock 2017
“From old Swartland bush-vines, this is a seriously seductive red blend for the most demanding and inquisitive of premium red wine lovers.”
A seductive and very unique blend of Syrah, Cinsault and Carignan. Hand-harvested, hand-sorted in the cellar to ensure only the finest examples of berries are used. All three varietals were co-fermented allowing for a much more harmonious and seamless blend. The wine spent 18 months in barrel with most of the barrels ranging from 2ndto 6thfill. On the palate, the wine delights with generous concentration and a refined, smooth texture.
This vintage is bolder than the 2016, and makes quite the statement. In our opinion the 2017 is the finest Black Rock to date.
