“A lively Grenache with a supple texture, soft tannins and a spicy finish.”
The fruit is harvested from a single vineyard located in Helderberg overlooking the ocean. The vines benefit greatly from the South Easter sea breeze in the summertime, cooling the entire vineyard.
All of the grapes were hand-picked at dawn to capture freshness and acidity yet retaining elegance in the flavour expression. The bunches were hand-sorted and fermented using wild yeast only. The wine spent 11 months in older (3rd& 4th fill) French oak barrels.
Refreshing, yet nevertheless ripe and displaying juicy red fruits with a lithe texture and delicate tannins.
